At 17, he performed for the first time at his school talent show, he won a song writing contest at 18 for MLK Day, and at 21 he won Concert Crave Showcase in Greenville, South Carolina. More Recently, he has been performing at various open mics, festivals, and other various shows. Inspired by J Cole, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Lauryn Hill and many others, Juby always made music, but did decide to take it serious until the end of 2021. He went to J Cole's Off Season Concert in Greensboro, North Carolina. There is where he decided that on stage is where he was meant to be. He also wants to issue J Cole a personal "Thank You."

"Music is not only an outlet, it is the reason, it is a purpose, it is emotions, it is communication, it is expression. The love of the music is what drives me to create. These creations puts life into someone else and that's what matters."
